EVEN if it were just another glimmering new Lower East Side tower full of multimillion-dollar condos, the sleek, eight-story glass tower at 257 Bowery would qualify as a statement building, with its room-size red elevator visible through the building’s corrugated-glass facade and its sensuously undulating balustrade, perched high above the 29-foot-tall ground-floor exhibition space.It's the new,Norman Foster-designed home of The Sperone Westwater gallery on the Bowery.
